Linear Tube Filling Machines

Linear tube filling machines for automatic packaging

Machines and Solutions > Tube filling machines > Linear tube filling machines

Nima Erre.Ti Packaging’s linear tube filling machines are a major advance on the classic rotary tube filling machine.

Linear tube filling machines are designed to fill and seal tubes from 10 to 60 mm in diameter, with a production rate of up to 24,000 units/hour.
Tubes can be made of: Polyethylene, Laminate, Polyfoil, Coex or Aluminium.

Our linear machines can work simultaneously with plastic and aluminium tubes without the need to change the sealing head, simply by selecting the type of tube to be used on the control panel, cutting the time required for format changes.

Linear tube filling machines: specifications

Nima Erre.Ti Packaging’s linear tube filling machines for automatic packaging are patentedinnovative machines for the automatic filling and sealing of tubes in the following sectors: pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical.

Specifically for top-of-the-range productions, our linear tube filling machines stand out for the option of working simultaneously with plastic and aluminium tubes, without the need to replace the sealing head. As a result, a major reduction of the time required for format changes is obtained.

Linear tube filling machines for automatic packaging can be equipped with a Single Sealing Head. This technology makes it possible to switch from one type of tube to another simply by selecting the option on the touchscreen panel. In addition, the machines stand out for another feature that is essential for the operator, that is, the option to always oversee the entire process without having to go around the linear tube filling machine, as is the case with the classic rotary tube filling machines.

Our linear machines for automatic packaging, due to their “terrace-style” design, can be equipped with one or more filling and sealing lines. In this way, the machine becomes modular with a filling and sealing capacity of up to four tubes at the same time.

For the sealing of aluminium tubes, it is possible to select simple, double or saddle sealing (suitable for the pharmaceutical sector). One peculiarity of our linear tube filling machines for automatic packaging regarding the sealing of aluminium tubes is the fact that the tubes, both during loading and expulsion, are never left free to “fall” but are always accompanied horizontally. This ensures that the aluminium tubes are dent free.

For the welding of tubes in plastic, as standard we use hot air technology. In this method, the tube is heated internally and then welded with cold pincers, to ensure excellent quality. An appropriate shield from the air intake protects the product inside the tube, which never comes into contact with the hot air.
For the sealing of tubes, various shapes can be produced, such as:

  • euroslot;
  • crescent;
  • wave;
  • other customised shapes.

Unlike the classic rotary tube filling machines, the sealing head is controlled by a dedicated forced camshaft for each pincer. This feature makes the machine extremely robust and long-lasting.
The feeder system uses the mechanical volumetric method. The filling nozzle is the plunger-type, filling from the bottom. In addition, the tubes can be filled in several colours and stripes..

Linear tube filling machines are available with the following options: tube cleaning, insertion of inert gases, marking, control via cameras, the application of adhesive labels directly in the machine etc..
